Skill Level: Beginner
This fun, no pressure course is designed to instruct individuals with little or no knowledge of photography on how to get the most out of their digital camera. This 5 week course covers the basics of (proper exposure, shutter speed, aperture, ISO), white balance settings, depth of field, and a whole lot more. Through hands on instruction and weekly assignments, students will learn how to properly handle a camera, compose images, select the right lens to use in different situations, and how and when to use a flash.
Classes are kept small to ensure each student receives individual attention to develop the skills needed to become a more skilled and confident photographer. Students are encouraged to ask lots of questions, support one another, and be an active member of a community of learners.
